Hey Everybody,

So last night was amazing!  Recycled Percussion was here at DSU and put on an amazing show!  The totals are not in quite yet but we are thinking that around 500 people attended the concert both student and members of the community alike.  The show lasted roughly 2 hours and the band kept the excitment up the whole time.  On another positive note, SPRING BREAK STARTS TOMORROW!!!  As you can tell I am a little excited for this.  I will be headed to Colorado again this year with my girl friend and my partner in crime (you both know who you are) to meet up with my best friend.  We will be staying at his house near Denver and then we will head to his cabin in the mountains for a couple days of fun.  Other than that, I just have one more test then one class tomorrow and I'm on the road!  P.s. we have hit a heat wave up here with temperatures in the 30's.

Hi Everybody!

Warm Greetings from here at DSU!  Right now the Temp is a blistering 32 degrees.  Well, ok, it might not be a heat wave but it sure does feel good.  I don't think it is supposed to last for long as we are in a winter weather advisory, put I think we will all take what we can get.  Everything here is going good so far, tonight I start my class at the nursing home with Walter.  I got to meet him last week and he seems like a really nice guy.  I am really looking forward to chatting with him and learning about his life.  Well, thats about all I know for now.

Hope all is well,

Jordan

So another day has come, and another day has froze over.  It has been pretty bad up here lately, but thats what we get for living in SD.  I guess I can not really complain do to the fact that there is not a blizzard, and the winds are not blowing 60 mph.  Its been so cold out that the locks on my car are froze.  I had to blow hot air in them so i could just get the key in.  I think the worst part about the cold would be the frost on the windows, I hate having to get up at 7:30 just to scrape my windows in the freezing cold.  Its days like that I enjoy having a small campus.  Other than the cold I am doing great.  Life is going good and I have no complains.

Hope all is well,

Jordan Frisch

Hello again,

Well were back to school and back into the swing of things.  This semester has started out really fast and is showing no signs of slowing down.  For this semester I only have one class hat is actually face to face, the rest are internet or independent study classes.  You would think that this would give me more time, but in fact it is actually more time consuming.  This is because I will be dedicating my time to level III teaching experiance and helping out at the Bethal Home (nursing home) for a sociology class.  I guess its not too bad and I should not complain, there are a lot worse things that could be going on.  I hope all is well with you.

Have a nice day :)

Hey guys,

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, but there has been a lot on my plate as of recently.  I'll let you in on why I am so busy, and this is the exact order it was in.  I began my level III's for teaching at the start of November, soon after,  Thanksgiving break started and so it was time to take a break from school.  I ended up going to Green Bay, Wisconsin with my father to watch the Packers beat play the 49ers.  During the first quarter of the game my father got a phone call that said my grandfather had passed away.  We stayed at the game and made the best out of it we could.  After the game I had to do some major soul searching and I ended up going to Florida for the break.  While getting off the plane in Florida my ear had never popped and is still to this day (15 days later) not yet popped yet.  I went to the doctor last weekend and he tells me that I have flu ... So now it's time for me to really start teaching!  I am going to be doing my level III's at the Madison High School for roughly 3 or 4 weeks.  The only bad part of my level III's is that I have to also continue taking my classes.  So while Im doing all of my hw, I have to start getting lesson plans ready for the next day in class.  It should be fun and I am not too worried, it will just keep me busy.

TTFN,

Jordan Frisch

So this last week/weekend was pretty fun.  As most of you know it was Halloween on Saturday and sadly to say I was not able to get involved in any of the festivities.   Being an RA I had to be on duty this weekend, but that comes with the job description.  I am staying busy and involved while continuing to maintain my grades even though its starting to become cruntch time.  It helps that I am done with my job for the season working at the state park.  This really frees up some of my afternoons.  For now I have managed to become busy again with teaching.  Today I will be going out to the Madison Middle School to teach a few 7th graders some biology.

Wish me luck,

Jordan Frisch

Wow, the fun never stops.  I finally went back home for the first time in about 3 months.  It was nice to get a chance to relax and not have to worry about school.  The only problem with this is that I still had a bunch of homework that had to get done.  It was also a three day weekend due to Columbus Day (Native American Day in SD) yesterday.  I had to leave home to come back to work one day early which was not fun by any means.  I also had a group assignment that I had to get done late last night and that kept me up for quite some time.  Oh well, we got it done and everything went as planned.  I am now off to class and I'm sure its gonna be great.

Later,

Jordan Frisch

Hello Everybody,

I thought since homecoming was over that time would slow down, yet again I am proven wrong by both the clock and my ignorance.  I should have known from experience that school was going to stay busy, even after Homecoming.  The home work just keeps piling on and with my job it's just crazy.  On a good note, my job is over at the end of the month.  On a bad note, the time in which I work now will be replaced with level 3 teaching experience.  Im not saying that it's a bad thing that I have to teach, it's just that when I finally get some free time it gets filled in by something else.  Life is supposed to get less hectic when your a senior, right?  Oh well, I will make due with what I have and be happy that I have it.  I also get to go home this weekend and see my family.  This is the first time I will be home since before the start of the school year, i think it is needed.&am ...
